Halloween
So Now that Christmas is over I can finally blog our Halloween photos. I do not know how many of you saw Star Wars Clone War, (unfortunatley we did and it was two hours of my life I will never get back). The kids loved it and decided that we should have a Star Wars family theme. I was able to convince Jayden and Lewis that they would look much better in Star Wars costumes than Scott and I and they relented. Jayden was Ashoka, and Lewis was Young Anakin, Jayden's (Ashoka's) Jedi master. William wore a couple of Different costumes, at the indoor party he was a fireman, but for Trick or Treating he was Tigger (much warmer). I thanks to Anna's and Jayden's idea won a Costume Contest, I was a Mrs Mctwitter the babysitter. If you do not know who she is you should read Shel Silvertein's a Light in the Attic. Mrs Mctwitter the babysitter, I think is a little bit crazy, for when she comes to babysit she sits upon the baby. Jayden's babydoll strapped to my backside worked perfectly. Needless to say we had a great time.

BEVER BABY NAME
Our poor neglected child has finally been named. With three boys and a very limited number of boy names that we really like, and then trying to find something that works with the other names in our family, but still work with the last name Bever, (keep in mind we are always called beaver) it has been quite a challenge. After a threatening phone call from the hospital telling us that we would have to brave the Social Security Office on our own we decided we better make a decision. His name is Reid W. Bever. He has been a joy to have in our home. The kids can't wait for him to wake up from every nap, and can not figure out why he sleeps so much. It has been a quite Thanksgiving. I hope that you all have enjoyed your Holiday, and that you enjoy the Christmas Season that is finally upon us.

He's Here
This is our boy, and we still to have a name for him soon. The Doctor assured me that it did not matter what we named him we could be sure that by the time he was 15 he would hate it no matter what. Everything went great with the delivery, and he is a little boy for our family. He weighed only 8 lbs. and is 20 in long.
Al this time things with his body appears to be functioning properly. We will have more tests run on Monday. The kids love him, Jayden is scared she will brake him, Lewis wants to snuggle and William thinks he is supposed to pet him.

Bever Baby
Well it is 4 o' clock in the morining, and I am waiting to call the hospital to see if there have been any delays on my scheduled induction, and how better to spend that time than blogging. I find myself pondering so many different things, and I find that my emotions are completely different with this baby than with any of the others. Maybe it is because this baby is coming into the world with some health concerns.
The doctor has chosen to induce me because he is concerened about the amniotic fluid, and unfortunatley this baby has some kidney problems that have progressively gotten worse, and low fluid can lead to Kidney failure. So after 3 whole visits with my docter (I was seeing a midwife before). I will be having a baby. I have not even seen the maternity ward, when requesting a room with a jacuzzi tub I was informed that they were in the hall. I asked if it was like going to the spa.
Please remember us in your prayers I am sure that all will go well. we will keep you posted.
Any suggestions for names would also be appreciated

Pumpkin Patch
One of our favorite things to do each Halloween is to go the the Pumpkin Patchin Canby Oregon and ride the Pumpkin express. The have a small haunted track, petting farm and Hay maze. The kids always have a great time. And best of all they get to take home any pumpkin that they can carry on their own. We were lucky this year, becuse there was only one other family there with us, we had the whole farm pretty much to ourselves.
Soccer season
Lewis had a great soccer season this year. It was so fun to watch him on the field. The coach nicknamed him as Lewis "The Wall" Bever for his Tenacious defense, and general intimidation of forwards. He was also voted as having the best electric slide. any opportunity he had to slide he did. It was great, and even with all the rain we look forward to next season.

First Day of School
So I know that School has been in session since September, but I have not been able to get into my blog and so I am finally posting the kids photos from the first day. I can not believe that Lewis is in Kindergarten. The kids school is 30 minutes from our house, so they ride the bus for 1 hour both ways. Lewis Leaves in the Morning at 7:00 and gets home at 1:00. Jayden gets home at 3:15. It is a long day for them, but we LOVE their school.
European Vacation
European Vacation
So Scott and I got to take off for a vacation without the kids, 15 days, just Scott my parents and me. We met My mom and dad at the Atlanta Airport on Thursday afternoon, and then took off for a whirlwind tour. Landing in Madrid early Friday Morning. We finally found our Hotel checked-in and were off to sight see.
The Prado was AMAZING!!!!
The Next morning we were able to go to the Valley of the Fallen, How impressive even on a wet, gloomy day, then we were off to Toledo.
Toledo was an experience, all of those narrow streets, Someone had even dug the wall out so that the car mirrors would fit.
Then Next morning we had a drive ahead of us, But it was so neat to see the hillsides dotted with abandoned castles all along the way, We had to stop at at least a few. We stopped in Cordoba, but only long enough to get lost, then onto Seville.
In Seville was one of the Highlights of our trip, a Professional Flamenco Performance. My mom even learned some of the moves. We did some sight seeing the next morning, and then took off for Granada.
After a disappointing lost reservation the Alhambra was no longer on our list of sights to see so we traveled south to a small town on the Mediterranean and then off to Valencia to see the Lladro Factory.
We completed our tour of Spain in Sitges. What a great city on the Sea. We had a great evening walking the boardwalk.
The next morning we Drove into France. We stopped first at Carcassonne. This is a Castle from the 1200's complete with a walled city. Then we went to Orange where the best preserved Roman Theater is located.
We spent the night in the French Riviera With a beautiful view of Monaco.
Then we were off to Italy, we headed straight for Venice. The first evening was so pleasant, most of the crowds were gone and I c ould sense the magic of the town. It was a holiday weekend in Italy and Venice was literally shoulder to shoulder, we decided to cut our trip a little short, off to Florence. In Florence we decided we were ready for a change of pace, we found a small island that is a part of Tuscany called Isola D' Elba. Some of you may know it as Napoleon's island. (he was exiled there for 1 year) What a fabulous island, hotel, and dinner. We did a lot of hiking. Then we took the Ferry back and headed into Rome.
Rome was great, and boy were we glad that we had been driving in Spain and France to prepare us for Rome. We took off for Pompeii first thing the next morning, WOW 3000 yrs of history, so well preserved.
On our last day we toured Rome, and saw all of the must see sights. It was truly a great trip, one that we will never forget. Thanks Mom and Dad for coming along with us. And of course we can never thank Walt and Lynn enough for watching the kids.
